| Murder? |
[Jul. 20th, 2006|12:53 pm] |
The Scenario: A woman dressed as a clown, we shall call her Clown Lady, is at a party dancing with three guys. They are the Bad Guys (TM) here, so we shall call them the Terrorists. Clown Lady's friend, who is the main focus of this, we shall call Flower child. The Terrorists drug Clown Lady and drag her off from the party to a room to rape her. Flower Child shows up with a .44 and blows away the leader of the Terrorists with multiple slugs. He then falls out a window and lands safely on a couch. The couch happens to be on fire, but that isn't the point.
I say that wasn't murder and Flower Child is perfectly safe (legally), as is Clown Lady. Any one else have any thoughts?
Any one find this scene familiar from somewhere? |

Remember kids...when working with a database, entering the command "Update table set = " is probably a bad idea. A much better idea is to enter: "update table set = where like "
*sigh*...almost 2500 entries (which at the time of this writing is the entire table) corrupted because I did the first and not the second....to borrow a phrase from Skywalker...*HEADDESK!!* |

| Irvine revisited |
[May. 17th, 2006|02:49 pm] |
Hey all -
Update on my trip down south. Looks like I will have a few more days to travel as I transition from a really shitty job to one that is quite better. Yes, you read that right, I got the job I wanted in Napa, resulting in a 50% commute, and a 25% raise. Yes, I am pretty excited. But back to the Irvine gig, I am thinking about heading down on Wed instead of Sat, Skywalker, will you still be around then?
as to plans since the only person to suggest something was sugarmama...I say we go with her plan and can work other things in as time allows. See my last post for her reply and proposition. I will be driving down Wed, and depending when my new start date is coming back either sunday night or Monday.
Look forward to seeing all of you.

When one is sad...watching something sad is a stupid idea. But crying helps.
I hurt so...
I miss so much love in my life. |

"I believe that when we leave a place, part of it goes with us, and part of us remains. Go Anywhere in this station, when it is quiet, and just listen. After a while you will hear the echoes of all our conversations, every thought and word that we have exchanged. Long after we are gone, our voices will linger in these walls as long as this place remains.
But I admit, the part of me that is going will miss the part of you that is staying."
Hear Hear G'Kar, wiser words of parting may not have ever been spoken.
Same Episode: "'Coming?' 'Now?' 'Now is all we have.'"
And truer words were never spoken. Go Delenn. |

So..am thinking last weekend in May of going south...who does that work for and who doesn't it? Will likely need a ride to and from the AP, arriving sat late and leaving Mon. Plans might change depending on who is paying me that week.
Let me know, sooner is better than later.
J
Update....Won't need anyone to meet me at the Arrival Point...or Air Port...and that is because I can't fly on a saturday after 7pm. WTH?!?! So yeah...looks like I will be driving. Still planning to leave Sat around 7 (which means my arrival is sometime around 1am) and leaving Monday afternoon/evening. |
